A table saw is among the most dangerous power tools in your workshop. If not operated correctly, table saws can cause lots of harm. Different types come with varied safety measures and features like flesh sensors, auto-reset switches, anti-kickback pawls, among others. Finding one with all these features comes at a price, but what is cost compared to your safety?

This particular Dewalt table saw is our choice for commercial use. It features a 15-amp motor, which has an amazing speed of 4800 rpm. So, if you’re looking for a saw that incorporates high torque and power, this is one you shouldn’t pass up. The high number of spins in a minute can rip through several types of woods, which is why this model is ideal for different types of applications.

Balancing heavy-duty durability and lightweight design, this machine proves that good things can come in small packages. While buyers are overall happy with their purchases, they do seem to all agree on one thing: the DEWALT DWE7480 may be an overall investment, but it could seriously do with a miter gauge replacement. Buyers report replacing its inaccurate, plastic gauge for a solid, more detailed one.

But it’s a journey that’s still in progress. The DCS7485B is lightweight and portable, and it’s also very quiet. What it can’t do is hard work for an extended period. The battery just isn’t there and the trade-off for 60 volts of power limits the range of what you can legitimately expect to cut through. It’s possible to upgrade the battery, but our reviews are based on what comes inside the box. And what comes inside the box with this one has a good deal of promise for only a little bit of delivery.

RPM plays a major role in deciding the amount of revolutions the blade can perform in a minute with 745 performing 3850 rpm. This is really good that the blade can roll 3850 times per minute and get the work done easily. The durability of the table is for a 3 year time period which is good considering the usage of the product. Indeed a good table saw by Dewalt.
I am looking at getting a saw, and this has helped, but still leaves a lot of confusion. most of my work would be diy projects, maybe shelving, who really know. The main reason for buying one, is I am looking to build some SUP’s. (Stand Up Paddle boards) I will be ripping 10-12′ 1/4″ strips that maybe in the 3/8″ up to 3″ range, along with re-sawing some wider planks into the 1/4″ thick, 5-6″ wide plank’s. I have been going back and forth on the Dewalt dwe7491rs vs the Delta 36-725t2 vs the comparable Ridgid. Any thoughts? the Dewalt would be nice as it packs away in a smaller space, but the delta/ridgid would also be easily moved out of the way. with the Dewalt, I would probably end up making an outfeed bench. price points they are all similar, I am just not sure what would be the best for this type of work. thanks for any input.
But here we can start to dream. DeWalt’s DCS7485B is a saw you can use basically anywhere. It’s cordless, so you don’t have to worry about outlets and extension cords (except to charge batteries). Because of that, it’s also more compact and lighter than most models that have a power cord. The trade-off is that the battery life is limited, especially compared to wall power. Even with DeWalt’s features to increase its cordless power, it’s still not quite there yet compared to corded drills. But again, for the work you require of it, this might be a perfect fit.

If you’re looking for a machine with high capacity, the SKIL 3410-02 has a 3.5-inch cut height with the ability to cut through four times the material on each pass. The consensus among reviewers is that, for such a low price, you end up compromising on miter gauge and saw blade quality. Luckily both of those things can be replaced if you so choose.

Your Amish neighbors think they’re so impressive, with their beards, and their shirt hooks, and their aversion to power tools. So, you’ve hit the Internet to check out Dewalt table saw reviews to see which one will help you crush your buggy-driving neighbors.

Rip capacity is a jargony-sounding term that refers to the size of the piece you can cut. Bigger saws tend to—ta-da—have the ability to cut larger pieces of wood. This can be important because woodworking often involves using large pieces of wood used either in remodeling homes or building new additions. If you need the flexibility of handling large pieces of wood, you’ll want to give serious consideration to the rip capacity of the saws you’re looking at because it’ll come into play at some point.

Without worrying much about the budget, the DEWALT DW745 is perhaps the best hybrid table saw you can get. It comes with a powerful motor, it is highly affordable, and it is a high-end tool that can double up as a job site table as well. At only 45 pounds, it is lightweight and can be moved from one location to another. This is why it is our top choice for homeowners.
With a 32½-inch rip capacity and motor capable of up to 4800 rpm, the DWE7491RS is more than prepared to effectively deliver 3⅛-inch deep cuts to thick slabs of wood. Happy customers sing this machine’s praises, reporting that it’s as sturdy as a table saw can get — plus, it’s easy to use, and assembling it is a cinch. They do however note that workers looking to produce finer cuts should seek out a replacement blade since the one provided is more suited for fast, rough work.

The same goes for the kind of work you expect to do. Although a table saw is a pretty serious investment, you can trim money off your purchase if you don’t need something that will go through ash like a katana through a zombie. If you need the power or anticipate needing it in the future, you’ll want to invest extra to get it. So, be honest about what you’re going to need and tailor your major purchase to meet those needs.
